Li Keqiang Meets with Chairman of the Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda of Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the morning of December 16 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Chairman of the Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Belgrade.

Li Keqiang expressed that China is willing to, together with Bosnia and Herzegovina, take the opportunity of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relationship to intensify bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields continuously on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit. Besides the project of Stanari Thermal Power Plant, the Chinese enterprises won the bid for projects including the Tuzla Thermal Power Plant and the Zenica pyroelectric project. China will continue to support its enterprises in taking part in construction of transportation infrastructure such as railways and roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is believed that the in-depth development of the cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) will bring more opportunities to the relationship between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Vjekoslav Bevanda expressed that the cooperation mechanism between the CEEC and China is constantly improved and the cooperation scope is continuously expanded. The cooperation initiatives put forward by Premier Li Keqiang during the last meeting between leaders of China and the CEEC are implemented, and the two sides enjoy huge cooperation potentials. Bosnia and Herzegovina is grateful to China for its support and help and stands ready to expand its cooperation with China in railway and road construction, agriculture and health with the help of China's advantages in technology and equipment, so as to benefit the people in the two countries and the region at large.
