Li Keqiang Meets with Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić of Bosnia and Herzegovina

On the morning of November 26, 2015, Premier Li Keqiang met at the Great Hall of the People with Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who was in China for attendance of the 4th Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries.

Li Keqiang expressed that China enjoys sound relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina. China respects sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and stands ready to work with Bosnia and Herzegovina to consolidate traditional friendship, tap cooperation potential and push bilateral relations to a new high.

Li Keqiang pointed out that the China-Bosnia and Herzegovina key project cooperation in production capacity presents plenty of highlights. As the first project under the special loans of the 16+1 cooperation, the Stanari Thermal Power Plant built by Chinese enterprise will soon be completed. It is hoped that both sides could continue playing their complementary advantages and intensify bilateral cooperation in hydropower, wind power, high voltage electricity transmission network and railway upgrades. China supports its enterprises to invest in cement, building materials, mineral exploitation, forestry processing, automobile production and other sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to carry out cooperation in third-party markets.

Denis Zvizdić noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina is satisfied with the development of bilateral relations and is grateful for China's assistance to the country's development. Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue actively implementing the consensus and plans of the 16+1 cooperation, give full play to its own advantages to intensify bilateral cooperation in renewable energy, electricity, road construction, processing and manufacturing, trade in agricultural products and other fields, and provide legal guarantees and relevant convenience for Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Bosnia and Herzegovina and carry out cooperation oriented to the third-party markets.
