On January 22, 2016, Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) met at the building of the Parliamentary Assembly with Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Haixing who was visiting BiH for political consultations between the two Foreign Ministries.

Denis Zvizdić said that BiH stays committed to national development and construction and regards China as a strategic cooperative partner. BiH is willing to further deepen bilateral cooperation in fields such as energy, transportation infrastructure construction, forestry and agriculture through platforms such as "16+1 cooperation".

Liu Haixing stated that China-BiH relations are at the best period in history with fruitful achievements in bilateral cooperation in fields such as politics, economy, trade, people-to-people and cultural engagement, and multilateral sphere. China is willing to work with BiH to continue strengthening bilateral high-level exchanges and expand cooperation in major projects in terms of economy, trade, investment, energy and connectivity so as to promote China-BiH friendly cooperative relations for greater development.
