President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

On June 4, 2014, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Hong Xiaoyong was appointed Ambassador to Socialist Republic of Vietnam, replacing Kong Xuanyou.

Xie Feng was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, replacing Liu Jianchao.

Wen Zhenshun was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia, replacing Cui Zhiwei.

Luo Zhaohui was appointed Ambassador to Canada, replacing Zhang Junsai.
