2021-05-12 22:01

On the evening of May 11, 2021, Vice Foreign Minister Qin Gang attended the National Day Reception held by the Embassy of Poland in China upon invitation.

In his address, Qin Gang congratulated on the National Day of Poland, saying Poland is among the first countries to recognize and establish diplomatic ties with the People's Republic of China. Over the past 72 years after the establishment of diplomatic relations, China-Poland relations have maintained the sound and steady development, and the friendship between the two peoples is growing with time. After the outbreak of the COVID-19, both countries helped each other, and maintained cooperation in the pandemic prevention and control, and the resumption of work and production, breaking new ground in deepening bilateral ties. In February this year, President Xi Jinping and President Andrzej Duda jointly attended the China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Summit, and worked with leaders of other countries to draw a new blueprint for the cooperation between China and the CEEC under the new circumstances. China is willing to work with Poland to strengthen policy coordination, deepen practical cooperation, and facilitate personnel flow, so as to deliver more benefits to the two peoples, broaden the horizons for the China-CEEC cooperation and the China-Europe relations, and inject more positive energy into the world development and prosperity.

Qin Gang exchanged views with Ambassador of Poland to China Wojciech Zajaczkowski on China-CEEC cooperation, and China-Poland and China-Europe relations.
