From June 21 to 30, 2023, Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for China-CEEC Cooperation Affairs Ambassador Jiang Yu visited Greece, Poland and Hungary. During the visit, she met with high-level officials and friendly personnel from relevant government departments, and participated in the Open Day events organized by the Chinese embassies in Greece, Poland, and Hungary, respectively. She also attended and addressed economic, trade, and cultural activities such as the High-Level Forum: The 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative & China-Greece Relations, and 'The Belt and Road Initiative Injects New Momentum into China-Poland relations' Think Tank Media Dialogue, Dragon Boat Festival Sino-Greek Cultural Exchange Event, the promotion event of China-CEEC (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Forum, and the China-EU Geographical Indications Products Joint Expo.
Jiang Yu introduced the latest progress in China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) cooperation, and emphasized the mutual dependence, mutual integration and mutual promotion of China-CEEC cooperation, bilateral cooperation and China-EU cooperation. China is ready to work with Greece, Poland and Hungary to promote cooperation in connectivity, tourism, green development and other fields, so as to further deepen and substantiate China-CEEC cooperation.
