On December 2, 2013, Assistant Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang, as guest of honor of the Chinese side, attended the reception marking the Romanian National Day hosted by the Romanian Embassy in China. Zheng congratulated Romania on its National Day and exchanged views on issues of common concern such as bilateral relations and cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries with Romanian Ambassador to China Romulus-Doru Costea.
