On March 29, 2016, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao met at request with Victor Ponta, former Prime Minister of Romania and Chairman of "Black Sea Regional Projects (BSRP) 2020" Foundation. Both sides exchanged views on China-Romania relations, cooperation between China and Central and East European countries, China-Europe relations and other issues.
