From December 2 to 3, 2018, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao visited Romania, during which he met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodor Melescanu of Romania, and held talks with special representative for Asian affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Viorel Isticioaia Budura of Romania. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on China-Romania relations, cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, China-European Union relations as well as international and regional issues of common concern.
