Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Miro Cerar of Slovenia

In the morning of December 16 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Miro Cerar of Slovenia in Belgrade.

Li Keqiang said that the smooth development of China-Slovenia relations since the establishment of the diplomatic relationship in 1992 and their strong economic complementarity have created a broad prospect for bilateral practical cooperation. China stands ready to encourage its enterprises to take an active part in the development of projects related to Slovenia's Koper port and participate in the infrastructure construction and cooperation in nuclear power plant upgrading in the country by bringing their equipments of high cost-performance into full play. China supports Slovenia in hosting the second senior meeting of China-CEEC (Central and Eastern European Countries) Association of Tourism Promotion Agencies and Businesses and is ready to expand bilateral tourism cooperation with the CEEC.

Miro Cerar said that Slovenia enjoys a good relationship with China and boasts favorable investment environment and abundant tourism resources. Slovenia is willing to expand cooperation with China in such fields as infrastructure construction, tourism and investment, build the port of Koper into a gateway for Chinese commodities to Europe and increase exports to China.
