Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Miro Cerar of Slovenia

At noon of November 24, 2015, Premier Li Keqiang met at the Dongshan Hotel in Suzhou City with Prime Minister Miro Cerar of Slovenia who came to China to attend the fourth Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries.

Li Keqiang said that China and Slovenia enjoy a smooth development of the bilateral relations, high complementarity in economic development and broad prospects in practical cooperation. China is willing to actively participate in Slovenia's projects of upgrading of the Port of Koper and railway construction, and carry out cooperation with Slovenia in fields such as trade parks, logistics, equipment manufacturing and transportation infrastructure based on China's initiative of "cooperation in three port areas" of the Adriatic Sea, Baltic Sea and Black Sea. China supports its enterprises to participate in the privatization of some state-owned enterprises in Slovenia and launch cooperation with Slovenia in fields such as new energy, high and new technology, biological pharmacy and environmental protection. China is willing to expand cooperation in agriculture, forestry and tourism and enhance local exchanges with Slovenia.

Miro Cerar said that Slovenia and China boast long-term friendship and steadily advanced bilateral relations. Slovenia is willing to respond to China's "Belt and Road" initiative and strengthen connectivity cooperation with China. Slovenia welcomes Chinese enterprises to participate in the construction of cooperative projects such as the Port of Koper to expand practical cooperation in economy and trade, and is willing to, together with China, strengthen cooperation in tourism and carry out exchanges and cooperation related to Beijing's holding of the Winter Olympics in 2022.
