On November 28, 2019, Vice Foreign Minister Qin Gang held political consultation with Simona Leskovar, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia at vice-foreign ministerial level in Beijing. Both sides exchanged views on such topics as bilateral relations, cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, China-European Union relations, and international and regional issues of common concern.
