He expressed deep appreciation for the concrete and strong support the Serbian government and people have extended to China in its all-out battle against the epidemic. In firm support of Serbia's fight against the virus, China will provide assistance of protective gears and medical equipment to Serbia and facilitate its purchase of needed supplies from China. China will also send a medical expert team to Serbia to help achieve more effective containment and protect people's health and well-being.

Emphasizing the great importance he places on growing China's relations with Serbia, Xi said that he is confident that the two countries' joint response to the outbreak will further deepen the traditional friendship that has stood the test of all adversity, and strengthen and upgrade the comprehensive strategic partnership.
