Vice Foreign Minister Song Tao Meets with Ambassador of Monaco to China

On 22 October 2013, Vice Foreign Minister Song Tao at request met with Catherine Fautrier, Ambassador of Monaco to China. Both sides exchanged views on China-Monaco relations and other issues.

Vice Foreign Minister Song Tao expressed that China-Monaco friendship has a long history and practical cooperation has maintained a positive momentum. China attaches importance to developing relations with Monaco and is ready to strengthen multi-level exchanges with Monaco. Hope the cooperation between both sides in the fields of economy, trade, investment, people-to-people and cultural exchanges, tourism, environmental protection and sports will yield more outcomes.

Fautrier expressed that Monaco and China enjoy traditional friendship. Since ascending the throne, Monacan Head of State Prince Albert II has always attached great importance to relations with China. He is ready to strengthen practical cooperation with the Chinese side in all fields to continue to push for all-dimensional and in-depth development of bilateral relations.
