On June 29, 2017, Assistant Foreign Minister Qin Gang met with outgoing Bahamian Ambassador to China Paul Andy Gomez. Qin Gang appreciated Paul Andy Gomez for actively pushing forward China-Bahamas relations during his tenure and expected him to continuously make more efforts to promote bilateral friendly cooperation after leaving his post. Paul Andy Gomez thanked China for providing strong support during his tenure, and expressed that he will continuously pay attention to and support Bahamas-China friendly causes.
