On November 5, 2018, Vice Foreign Minister Qin Gang met in Shanghai with Minister for Foreign Affairs Darren Allan Henfield of the Bahamas who was in China for the first China International Import Expo. Both sides exchanged views on relations between China and the Bahamas and other topics of mutual interest, and agreed to enhance dialogue and cooperation to promote the greater development of relations between both countries and make greater contributions to the development of relations between China and Caribbean countries.
