Assistant Foreign Minister Zhang Kunsheng Mourned at the Embassy for Former President Arthur Napoleon Raymond Robinson of Trinidad and Tobago

On April 29, 2014, Assistant Foreign Minister Zhang Kunsheng went to the Embassy of Trinidad and Tobago in China, mourning for the former President Arthur Napoleon Raymond Robinson, who passed away recently. Zhang expressed to H.E. Chandradath Singh, Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago to China, that as a prominent statesman in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean region, President Robinson has made positive contributions to the development of the relationship between China and Trinidad and Tobago. He is deeply grieved at the passing away of President Robinson. He asked the Embassy to convey the sincere condolences from the Chinese side to the government and people of Trinidad and Tobago as well as the family members of President Robinson.

Chandradath Singh thanked Assistant Minister Zhang Kunsheng coming for the mourning. They also had a brief discussion on the relationship between China and Trinidad and Tobago.
