On June 19, 2019, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Latin American Affairs Liu Yuqin attended upon invitation the reception held by the Embassy of Trinidad and Tobago in China to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of China-Trinidad and Tobago diplomatic relations. Liu Yuqin delivered a speech at the reception and also exchanged views with Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago to China Stephen Seedansingh on bilateral relations and other topics.
