On December 1, 2019, Director-General of the Department of Arms Control of the Foreign Ministry Fu Cong and Hossein Sadat Meidani, head of the implementation team of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear issue of the Iranian Foreign Ministry held the working consultation. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing to firmly safeguard the implementation of the JCPOA and address issues related to the implementation of the JCPOA within the framework of the JCPOA Joint Commission.
