On June 9, 2017, Premier Li Keqiang sent a message of condolences to State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar over the crash of a Myanmar military plane. He expressed sincere condolences to this unfortunate incident and extended profound sympathies to the victims.

In the message, Li Keqiang said that he believes the Myanmar side will certainly handle the aftermath in a proper way under the joint efforts of all parties in Myanmar. China will provide necessary support and assistance to Myanmar in accordance with the country’s wish and need.
