Special Envoy Gong Xiaosheng meets with President Mahmoud Abbas

From November 20 to 21, 2018, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue Gong Xiaosheng visited Palestine. President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine met at the presidential office in Ramallah with Special Envoy Gong Xiaosheng. Both sides exchanged views on the Palestine-Israel situation and other regional hotspot issues. Director of the Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine Guo Wei attended the meeting.

During his stay in Palestine, Special Envoy Gong Xiaosheng also met with Advisor to President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations Nabil Shaath, Assistant Foreign Minister Makin, Fatah Party Commissioner for Relations with Arab Countries and China Abbas Zaki and others, and introduced relevant situation of his visits to Israel and Palestine to media including the Xinhua News Agency, China Central Television and China Radio International.
