On October 23, 2023, Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li met respectively with Senegalese President's Chief Foreign Affairs Adviser Oumar Demba Ba, Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of Lesotho Kabelo Lehora, and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Zimbabwe James Manzou who are in China to attend the 16th Senior Officials Meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. The two sides had an exchange of views on bilateral relations, and international and regional hotspot issues of mutual interest and concern.
