From June 15 to 16, 2015, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on African Affairs Ambassador Zhong Jianhua paid a visit to Sudan. He met respectively with President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir and Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour of Sudan and exchanged views with them on China-Sudan relations, the peace progress in South Sudan and other topics.

After the meetings, Ambassador Zhong Jianhua gave interviews to Sudan Television Service and other Sudanese mainstream media.
