On the morning of June 24, 2023, Premier of the state council Li Qiang arrived in Beijing by chartered plane after concluding the seventh China-Germany inter-governmental consultation, an official visit to Germany, an official visit to France, and the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact. State Councilor and Secretary-General of the State Council Wu Zhenglong, among other accompanying officials, arrived in Beijing on the same plane.

When leaving Paris, Li Qiang was seen off by French Justice Minister Éric Dupond-Moretti and Chinese Ambassador to France Lu Shaye, among others, at the airport.
