On June 6, 2022, Ambassador Zhang Jianwei met with Kuwait’s Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations Abdulaziz Saud AlJarallah.

China and Kuwait are traditional friends that have maintained close communication and coordination at the United Nations and in other multilateral affairs, Ambassador Zhang said, adding that China stands ready to work with Kuwait to deepen bilateral strategic partnership, uphold peace, development, cooperation and win-win partnership, as well as true multilateralism, and foster the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

For his part, Abdulaziz pointed out that Kuwait attaches high importance to the development of its relationship with China and praises China’s important contributions to promoting human development and global peace. Kuwait is willing to work with China to further cooperation on multilateral affairs so as to better promote win-win and shared development.
