On October 24, 2022, Ambassador Li Lianhe of the Department of West Asian and North African Affairs of the Foreign Ministry visited Djibouti, and met with Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Djibouti Mahamoud Ali Youssouf. The two sides exchanged views on China-Djibouti relations, the development of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, and international and regional issues of mutual interest and concern.
