On June 27, 2022, Ambassador Zhang met with Advisor on Political and Foreign Affairs of the Emir of Kuwait Mohammad Abdullah Abu Al-Hassan.

Ambassador Zhang expressed his gratitude to Abu Al-Hassan for his positive contribution to promoting bilateral friendship and advancing the development of bilateral relations, and said China is ready to work with Kuwaiti friends to deepen traditional friendship and facilitate practical cooperation to strive for new progress in our strategic partnership.

China is a trustworthy friend and partner of Kuwait, Abu Al-Hassan said, adding that Kuwait is willing to work together with China to achieve greater development of bilateral relations.
