On September 23, 2019, at the invitation of the European External Action Service, Director-General of the Policy Planning Department of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong held the first dialogue with Director-Generals for Political Affairs of Foreign Ministries from the European Union (EU) and its members states in New York. Both sides exchanged views on China-EU relations, multilateralism and international and regional hotspot issues of common concern.
