On July 3, 2020, Director-General of the Policy Planning Department of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong met with Afghan Ambassador to China Javid Ahmad Qaem. Both sides had friendly exchanges on international and regional landscape in the context of COVID-19 pandemic, respective foreign policies, and cooperation in pandemic response.
