On July 16, 2020, Director-General of the Policy Planning Department of the Foreign Ministry Liu Jinsong held video consultation on foreign policy with Director-General for Strategy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lee Jun-ho of the Republic of Korea. Both sides had friendly and in-depth exchanges of views on respective foreign policies and international cooperation against the COVID-19 pandemic, and agreed that the international community should stay united and work together to fight against the pandemic, maintain the stability of industrial and supply chains and promote regional economic cooperation.
