On September 6, 2022, Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li met respectively with new Ambassador Ibrahima Sory SYLLA of Senegal, the African co-chair of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and Ambassador Dosso Adama of Côte d'Ivoire. They exchanged views on bilateral relations, China-Africa relations and issues of common interest.
