China and San Marino

In 2013, remarkable progress was made in the bilateral relations between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of San Marino.

The two countries have always worked actively to grow their relations on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, setting a good example of harmonious coexistence and mutual support between big and small countries. The Agreement Between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of San Marino for the Exchange of Information Relating to Taxes came into force, giving a boost to bilateral taxation cooperation. The two countries maintained close communication and coordination in international organizations, and San Marino supported Chinese candidates for a number of positions in international organizations.

From 26 to 28 September, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Li Xiaolin visited San Marino and met with Captains Regent Antonella Mularoni and Denis Amici. President Li Xiaolin and President of the San Marino-China Friendship Association Gianfranco Terenzi attended the celebration marking the 25th anniversary of the San Marino-China Friendship Association.

From 27 to 28 October, Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited San Marino. He met with Captains Regent Giancarlo Capicchioni and Anna Maria Mucchioli and held talks with Foreign Minister Pasquale Valentini.

China and San Marino
